The 2008 Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown will be the 80th meeting in this great rivalry between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams. The match-up this year is scheduled for Sunday, August 31 at INVESCO Field at Mile High. A Youth Clinic run by CU and CSU football alumni and Columbine Health Plan Tailgate at the Field featuring Dan Hawkins and Steve Fairchild will jump start the festivities prior to the interstate battle.
The Youth Clinic will take place on Saturday, August 23. Tailgate at the Field is scheduled for Friday, August 29 at 12:00pm at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The University of Colorado and Colorado State University also have exciting activities planned in the days leading to kickoff.
